SARDONYX FIRE by AND OTHER STORIES

Gestern war ich bei Sonnenschein und milden Temperaturen mit einer Freundin in der Stadt bummeln – eine meiner Lieblingsbeschäftigungen. Und während wir durch etliche Geschäfte stöberten, vielen mir zwar keine Klamotten entgegen, dafür aber ein neuer Duft! 

Im wunderbaren And Other Stories gibt es zur Zeit eine große Auswahl an Eau de Toilettes und Body Mists in sowohl reichen als auch erfrischenden Duftnoten. Ob man also eher der frische Minz-Typ ist, oder es lieber rosiger mag bei Parfümen, die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass man bei & Other Stories fündig wird, ist hoch! 

Yesterday I went for a little stroll through the shops with a dear friend of mine. And while I didn’t find any (more) clothes, I stumbled upon a new perfume! 

And Other Stories – which is one of my favourite shops – currently has a variety of different scents and perfumes. So whether you’re more of a fresh scent lover, or prefer heavier scents, you will surely find a perfume you like! 

Obwohl ich schon einige Parfüme beistze, konnte ich diesem nicht wiederstehen und musste es kaufen. Der Duft ist nicht unbedingt ein typischer Frühlingsduft, aber ich mag etwas schwerere und vor allem prominentere Düfte sehr gerne und trage diese auch im Frühling bzw Sommer. 

Although I already own a lot of perfumes, I just couldn’t resist in buying a new one. The one I chose „Sardonyx Fire“ isn’t your typical spring scent, but I’ve never been one to care about this and quite honestly, I wear my perfumes all year around. 

Die Verpackung beschreibt den Duft folgendermaßen:  „From a dark amber inferno, rises wild vanilla and hints of bloom“. Also ein Feuer aus dunklem Bergstein, wilder Vanille und der Duft des Blühens. Ich bin absolut kein Fan von Vanilledüften – egal ob in Parfüms oder anderen Beauty Produkten und kann somit versichern, dass dieser Duft gar nicht nach Vanille riecht. 

Der Vergleich von blühenden Blumen beschreibt den Duft sehr gut. Die Farbe des Parfüms erinnert mehr an Bergstein als an einen Sardonyx (=fleischfarbenen Onyx), wie das Parfüm heißt, aber das ist im Anbetracht des wunderbaren Duftes nebensächlich.

Für 30€ auf 50ml hat das Parfüm zudem ein gutes Presi/Leistungsverhältnis.
Wer sich in den Duft genauso verliebt hat wie ich, kann zustätlich noch eine Handcreme oder Handseife, eine Duschgel, eine Bodylotion, ein Body Scrub oder das, im Vergleich zum Parfüm, leichtere Body Mist der Sardonyx Fire Kollektion erwerben. 

According to it’s packaging the scent notes in this perfume are: „from a dark amber inferno, rises wild vanilla and hints of bloom.“ This fire of different notes luckily hides the vanilla scent completely (I hate any beauty product that smells too harsh of vanilla).

 

Instead, the perfume really reminds me of flowers blooming. The colour of it reminds me more of amber than sardonyx ( a flesh-coloured onyx), which is the name of the scent. But either way, I love this scent and am very excited to wear it! 

It’s quite affordable, considering it was 30€ for 50ml (1.7 fl oz).
If you really enjoy this scent you can also get a matching Hand Soap and Hand Lotion, a Body Scrub, Wash and/or Lotion or instead of a perfume a lighter Body Mist – all from the Sardonyx Fire range.
