Wie bereits im letzten Jahr, wollte ich wieder einen Geschenke-Guide erstellen. Doch dieses Jahr baue ich das ganze etwas aus… Anstatt nur einen Post rund um passende Geschenke zu machen, gibt es in der diesjährigen Weihnachtszeit um einige mehr! Neben Beauty, Fashion und Lifestyle Geschenkideen, habe ich noch zwei „Stocking Filler“ bzw. Wichtelgeschenke Posts für euch und zum Schluss sogar noch einen für eure geliebten Herren im Leben. Den Beginn der Geschenke-Reihe machen die Wichtel- und oder Nikolausgeschenke bzw „Stocking Filler“, wie sie in den englisch sprachigen Ländern bekannt sind. Aber auch kleine Präsente für gute Uni-Freunde oder Kollegen fallen unter diese Kategorie. Der Name ist hier zweitrangig, denn bei all diesen Geschenken geht es darum, eine Kleinigkeit an eine geliebte Person weiterzugeben. Oftmals schenkt man sich unter Freunden immer etwas kleines in der Vorweihnachtszeit und auch das Bürowichteln wird schon vor Weihnachten zelebriert. To kick off my gift guide series I’m starting with the stocking filler gift guides. Here in Germany, we are celebrating Nikolaus‘ Day (aka the American Santa Claus) who here comes on the 6th of December and fills the kid’s shoes with small presents and candy. But those little gifts are also good for Secret Santa. And even if you don’t celebrate Nikolaus‘ Day, you are most likely exchanging gifts with your uni or work friend before Christmas, so these are usually the first presents we need to buy. Since those presents are supposed to be only small gifts that show that you care, you don’t really want them to break the bank. So I’ve made a little list of some beauty gifts, that are equally not too expensive and yet nice to give and to get.

Ich bin ein riesen Fan von Geschenksets. Denn für einen guten Preis erhält man meist 2-5 Produkte und hat so eine möglichst große Auswahl. Besonders die bekannten Shampoo-Conditioner-Duschgel-Body Lotion Sets finde ich super, denn die Produkte sind meist in Reisegrößen und perfekt für den nächsten Kurztrip! I’m a big fan of sets. For a great price you usually get between 2-5 products, which means a good selection of the brand’s ranges. I personally really enjoy those Shampoo-Conditioner-Shower Gel-Moisturizer sets, since those usually come in a travel since and thus are perfect to take on the next short trip. This beauty bag by The Body Shop features a shower gel, a body butter, and a hand creme. Though what makes this set so great is that all are made of argan oil, which is such a great ingredient for keeping your skin hydrated and soft – especially for those cold winter days.

And Other Stories – Hand Cream Kit
Handcremes werden gerne und oft verschenkt. Doch finde ich solche Handcreme Sets super geeignet für Weihnachten – und seien wir mal ehrlich, wie nett ist es, sich nicht auch noch um das Kaufen von Handcremes kümmern zu müssen, wenn man die ein oder andere zu Weihnachten bekommt? Was ich an solchen Sets besonders toll finde, ist, dass man sie aufteilen kann. Hat man beispielsweise eine Gruppe an Freundinnen, denen man gerne eine Kleinigkeit schenken will, ist dies perfekt. Man kauft ein bis zwei Sets und verteilt sie an alle Freundinnen. One of the most popular gifts are hand cremes. I personally find hand creme sets a great Christmas gift because you can buy one set and give it out to your girlfriends. That way each gets the same gift, but a different version of it. Also, you spend the same amount of money per Person, in this case, 5€, and no one can be pissed, about not getting a gift as great as the other one. This would also be great if you want to make personalized beauty kids for your friends with a bunch of different beauty products in it.

Ein weiteres Set, das sich super unter Freundinnen aufteilen lässt, aber auch ein tolles Geschenk für nur eine Person ist: das Susanne Kaufmann Badeset. Darin enthalten 2 Ölbäder; eins für die Sinne und ein winterliches; sowie ein Hamamelis Bad. Bade Öle können schnell langweilig werden und sehen oft eher billig aus. This set is my favourite by far. Not only because it looks absolutely stunning but also because it is another set that’s great for giving to several friends. Susanne Kaufmann’s bath set contains 2 oil baths – one for the senses and a wintery one – and a witch hazel bath. Bath oils can be kind of boring and often are rather cheap, but this one is an exception. The flasks are classic and yet sophisticated looking and each oil contains herbs or other plants, so it looks very exclusive.

Der Preis für dieses Geschenk mag über dem üblichen Rahmen für ein Wichtelgeschenk liegen, aber allein der Name hat mich so fasziniert, dass ich es einfach aufnehmen musste. Die Isländische Beauty Marke Skyn hat in diesem Hangover Emergency Relief Kit die Kälte Islands genutzt um regenerierende Beauty Produkte zu kreeiren, die erschöpfte Haut wieder belebt. This gift might be a little more on the pricier side for a stocking filler, but I think this is so cool, so I had to include it. The Name of the kit is fascinating enough to buy it, but the products itself make for an interesting set as well. The Iceland beauty brand Sykn uses the knowledge of the Icelandic cold to make this Hangover Emergency Relief Kit. All the products featured are designed to regenerate your skin. There are eye gels, an eye pencil, a lotion and two masks in the set – all cooling and refreshing.

Als letzte Geschenkidee etwas, das preislich definitiv keine Kleinigkeit zu Nikolaus oder zum Wichteln darstellt. Dieses Jet Set Kit von Aesop ist eine wunderbares Kennlern-Set doch vor allem ist es eine gute Möglichkeit, mehreren Freunden etwas von Aesop zu schenken, ohne pro Person 100€ ausgeben zu müssen. Denn bricht man den Preis auf die vier Flacons herunter, zahlt man jeweils nur 8,25€. Natürlich kann man dieses wunderbare Set auch einer einzelnen Person schenken, aber ich finde es ebenfalls nett, als Gruppengeschenk. Im Set sind ein Shampoo, ein Conditioner, ein Body Cleanser und ein Body Balm enthalten. Das tolle an Aesop ist, dass man die Flaschen danach wiederverwenden kann. Und sie sehen auch noch super stylisch aus!

The last gift idea is rather pricey for a stocking filler but my proposition here is to, again, divide it between your group of girlfriends. Everyone loves Aesop products and the design of it, but spending 100€ on a hand soap might be a little much for some of us. So getting a little something from Aesop surely will delight your girls. If you do this, each present only costs 8,25€. Obviously, you can give this set to one sole friend too, but it definitely makes for a great group gift. It contains a shampoo, conditioner, one body cleanser, and one body balm. Also great about the Aesop packaging is that the bottles are re-usable.
