NOW A YOUTUBER!!

Eines der Dinge, die ich schon seit Ewigkeiten machen möchte, mich aber nie getraut habe, sind YouTube Videos. 

Für einige von euch mag das nicht nach einem großen Deal klingen, aber für mich ist es das aber. Ich liebe YouTube und all die wunderbaren Inhalte die dort tag-täglich hochgestellt werden. Aber so viel Kreativität und Talent schüchtern einen auch schnell ein und gab mir immer das Gefühl, dass ich es gar nicht zu versuchen brauche. 

Doch wie viele Sprichwörter so schön sagen, soll man immer über seinen Horizont und seine eigene Bequemlichkeitsgrenze hinaussteigen. 

Um es also kurz zu fassen, ich habe mich endlich dazu überrungen ein Video zu drehen! Das ganze ist nicht perfekt, ich habe meine große Spiegelreflex Nikon D3200 Kamera benutzt zum drehen, die zwar super für alle Blogphotos ist, aber eher nicht die geeigentste für Videos. Statt Dreifuß gabs bei mir ein Bücherregal und nur natürliches Sonnenlicht. Geschnitten habe ich das Video mit iMovie, selbst erlernt und daher bestimmt nicht der beste Schnitt…

Doch trotz all dieser nicht ganz professionellen Hintergrundinformationen, bin ich vor allem extrem stolz darauf, dass ich all das selbst gemacht habe und vor allem, dass ich mich dazu durchgerungen habe es auch tatsächlich auf YouTube hochzuladen! 

Ich habe das Video auf Englisch gedreht, da ich persönlich am liebsten und eigentlich ausschließlich Englische Videos schau und weil man so eine höhere Reichweite hat. 

Abschließend kann ich eigentlich nur abermals erwähnen, wie stolz ich über mich selbst bin. Stolz darauf, dass ich über meinen eigenen Schatten gesprungen bin und das Video jetzt ernsthaft in der großen weiten Welt des Internets existiert. Und selbst wenn ich null Likes und nur fünf Views bekommen sollte, war es das Ganze dennoch wert.

Ohne weiter sinnloss herum zu reden, hier also mein aller erstes YouTube Video: 

One of the biggest things I’ve always wanted to do but never had the courage to, was uploading videos on YouTube. 

To some of you this might seem like not a big deal, but for me, it certainly was and frankly still is. I am addicted to YouTube and all the beautiful content that is put up there each day. But with so much creativeness and so many amazing videos, I felt like there was no point for me to even try. 

Too many great Youtuber already exist and they are far better equipped and skilled than my small self. 

Yet, I always tell myself – and everyone else – to dream big and try to achieve personal goals… 

Long story short, I finally decided to go ahead and film a video. I used my Nikon D3200 – the big DSLR Camera I use for all my blog photos – that is awesome for beautiful photography but not the best for making videos. I used bookshelves as a tripod and just the sunlight that luckily came through my living room window that day. I taught myself how to edit on iMovie and even though my editing skills are not yet on point, I really like the outcome of the video. 

I decided to shoot the video in English, in order to have a bigger range and also because I only watch English YouTube Videos myself… 

Finally, I wanted to add how proud I am of myself for pulling through, and creating a video that is now officially out there in the big wide world also known as the internet. Even if this video gets zero likes and only 5 views, I will still be extremely happy and proud.
